Barely a day after Chris Attoh’s divorce was publicly confirmed, his now ex-wife, Damilola Adegbite dropped a message that has left fans and observers confused as regards what actually transpired between the couple.

Damilola took to her Instagram Page to post a photo of herself with a write-up on how God gives instant answers to her prayers, quoting Romans 8:28. The inscription on Damilola’s photo reads:
That feeling when I ask my father in heaven to do something and he does it in less than 24 hrs. Then I am convinced that all things work together for good to them that love him and are called to his purpose!
Unfounded rumours that Ghanaian actor and media personality Chris Attoh and Nigerian actress Damilola Adegbite’s marriage has hit the rocks started circulating on the media several months ago.
Mr. Attoh however, brought the long speculations to a closure in a recent interview where he admitted that his marriage with Damilola has truly wrapped up.

Although the actual cause of Damilola and Chris Attoh’s divorce has not been made clear, it could be deduced from the actor’s words that it has something to do with the couple’s individual career and extended family.
But unlike most celebrity divorces which are always characterized by severe quarrels fraught with nasty verbal abuses, Damilola and Chris Attoh’s divorce has got something peculiar and interesting about it – the couple are still in good terms!

Confirming their divorce on Bella Naija, Chris spoke passionately about his ex-wife, describing her as “a wonderful woman and an amazing mother, who will continue to be his friend despite their differences”.
According to Chris, they are “now reworking things to create a new balance between work, spending time with and raising our son”.
Chris Attoh and Damilola Adegbite got married on the 14th of February, 2015 – St. Valentine’s Day. Damilola had already given birth to a son for Chris before the wedding which took place in Accra. The son who is named Brian was born on 5th September, 2014.
