Fire engulfed some subsidiaries of the Groupe Nduom including ATV and BTA television stations, Gold Coast Fund Management, GN Legal, GN Accounts and GN Bank located on the premises of the Coconut Grove Regency Hotel on Saturday evening.

The group had indicated earlier in a statement that the affected subsidiaries  at North Ridge will all resume full operations today, Monday April 24.

When 3FM Business visited Coconut Grove Regency Hotel, GN Bank and Gold Coast Fund Management were operating in a makeshift structure.

Interacting with some customers, who had come to do business, Esther Owusu a policy holder at Gold Coast Fund Management said she was not worried about her fund

“My only worry was business continuity, because I had an investment that was going to mature today so I needed to top up, I came here and business is as usual”.

For Frank Owusu, a customer with GN Bank, the open space transaction was not too convenient, though business was on going.

“I am able to do all my transactions, but for the open space and tent that we have to work under. The confidentiality you will get from operating in an enclosed building is missing”.

However Head of Corporate Affairs of Groupe Nduom, Richmond keelson, assured customers that his outfit is doing everything possible to relocate to an enclosed space by Tuesday, April 25.

As at the time 3FM BUSINESS got there, some construction work was ongoing to prepare the proposed new banking hall for GN Bank and Gold Coast Fund Management.
