Citi FM’s annual Family Day Out will come off today at the Aviation Social Centre in Accra.
The annual event is for friends and families to have quality time at an open-air funfair.
The Family Day Out marks the penultimate event in Citi FM Family Month, which has had various family related activities organised to consolidate the fortunes of families; including the Family Consecration Service, the Mother’s Day of Honor and the Family Breakfast Series.
In 2016, thousands of listeners of Citi FM showed up for the annual family day out. It was an opportunity for parents to relax from their normal busy work schedule and bond together.
The 2016 event climaxed with a cooking competition among the hosts of the Citi Breakfast Show and other Citi FM presenters. Kojo Akoto Boateng of the Citi Breakfast Show emerged the winner of the competition.
A cooking competition will again feature at today’s event with families given the opportunities to represent their favourite presenter in a cooking competition.
Other activities lined up for the day include soccer, chess, ludo, musical chairs, treasure hunt and more.
There will be bouncy castles, face painting and other exciting games to entertain children, while their parents enjoy the other activities.
