Hiplife artiste, Nana Boroo claims his long absence is the music industry is as a result of a broken heart.
“Been busy with other stuff, being work, business, and … healing the heart small,” explained Boroo on what caused his absence to Andy Dosty on Hitz FM.
He added that his woman leaving him for an unnamed person in the entertainment industry affected his ability to concentrate on doing music.
His recent single ‘Broken Heart‘ featuring Sarkodie was inspired by his experience. He called on his fans to share their heartbreak stories with him on Social Media, with the possibility of winning a prize from him.
Some seven years ago, Boroo had the biggest song in Ghana with ‘Aha Yede.’ He followed up with ‘Bebiaso‘ featuring Mugeez of R2Bees, but didn’t make the same impact.
