A 65 five year old woman, Julian Affum has nobody to support her in her misfortune after the death of her husband two years ago. She can no longer work, after she slipped and fell while attending to her sick husband.
While serving food to her late husband, she slipped and fell. As a result the 65year old Julian cannot walk properly because she sustained pelvic dislocation of the hip.
Her husband died through the sickness she was helping him through some two years ago
In an interview with TV3’s Odilia Agyeman Prempeh she emphasized, she now relies on one of her children who has also lost his job. She lamented fending for herself is a herculean task after the death of her husband.
Her family members have deserted her making her go to bed on empty stomach at times. Her four children from whom she finds comfort and help are all not well to do.
She is pleading with the public to help raise an amount of GHC7,500 cedis for a surgery that can correct the deformity. She added she sees herself as a burden and would want to work and support her children ones again.
