3FM’s Blakk Kobby Nominated For 2018 Ghana DJ Awards

3FM’s Blakk Kobby has been nominated in the Reggae/Dancehall DJ of the Year category of this year’s Ghana DJ Awards.

Blakk Kobby, who is the host of reggae show Reggae Vibes,  could not contain his excitement as this is his first time being nominated.

According to him, the nomination is a real testament of his hard work and dedication.

“I was surprised but I know it’s a blessing from the most high to reach this far with Reggae music. It’s a great recognition I never thought will ever come my way. To Jah be the glory.”

On how he felt about the other nominees in the same category, he said they all deserved to be recognized as well.

“Well, it’s a blessing to be in this category with hard working DJs. I feel we’ve all done our best to push reggae music beyond expectation.”

Reggae Vibes is an educative show that seeks to teach the youth about their roots and culture, history, music etc.

It is airborne every Friday from 10pm – 12am and Saturdays from 4pm – 6pm

The Ghana DJ Awards is meant to celebrate and appreciate the talents of Disc Jockeys (DJs) across the globe who promote Ghana music.
