FHI 360 seeks an experienced financial literacy/capabilities consultant to adapt a Financial Capabilities Curriculum, advise on developing of a digital approach (including SMS reminders) to reinforce the financial capabilities training, develop and deliver a related training of trainers course, prepare implementation guidance, and mentor trainers in their initial applications of the curriculum. The curriculum will be targeted to lower-income young Ghanaian adults ages 18-24 (inclusive) who either use, or are considering using, a mobile savings account offered by a partner bank.

Job Description
To assess, identify and document relevant and actionable credible information on potential donors especially private corporate donor foundations supporting development work in Ghana
Duration and timeline of Consultancy:
The assignment will be performed before the end of February 2017. It is expected that the selected consultant will use a maximum of 15 days to complete the assignment
Reporting:
The Consultant will be directly accountable to the Lead Operations Director of the FHI360 Ghana Office, who would provide support and guidance for the work
Scope of Work:
In order to achieve the objective, set out above, the consultant will undertake the following tasks
Key Activities:
Undertake a study of FHI360 core mandate and activities to ensure the relevance of the donor mapping exercise to the work of FHI360 in Ghana
Identify, visit, assess, and describe donor resources available to support FHI360 work in the country. Information must include Names and addresses of donors, description of donor activities, partnership criteria, area/s of interest and contact information of key relevant personnel within the donor organizations
Methodology:
Consultant may use a combination of methods such as one-on-one meetings, website information gathering, telephone conversations to identify, engage and document the required information
Targeted potential donors for this assignment must include donor organizations present in the country especially international corporate foundations, bilateral and multilateral agencies
Qualification and Requirements
Consultant must provide evidence of qualifications, expertise and understanding of the assignment
A Minimum requirement includes a Master’s degree in the field of Development, Management or social sciences
At least 10 years of work in international development. 5 years of which must be in business development, donor relations or fund-raising
Skills, abilities of the consultant must include:
Excellent understanding of NGO activities especially FHI360 activities and core areas of interest
Sound experience in securing funds from statutory sources, private corporate foundations, international donors etc
Proven relationship building and management skills
Experience working with key donors especially private corporate foundations
Ability to meet tight deadlines, work independently and be innovative and creative
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong facilitation, negotiations and networking skills
Excellent computer skills
Deliverables:
A complete and comprehensive report on all the potential donor sources approached. The report should comprise summaries of the works of the identified donors, past donations to similar organizations, specific projects funded, funding thresholds, areas of interests, partnership with other similar organizations, credible contact information and requirements for support and recommendations for partnership with each of the identified potential donors
A good actionable summary provided in the report with all the potential donors ranked according to the prospects of securing partnership support for FHI360 activities
A short PowerPoint presentation with recommendations to be presented by the consultant to key management team members of FHI360 Ghana office with recommendation on the application of the outcome of the mapping exercise
