The Jordanian King arrived in Morocco on Wednesday for an official visit to discuss bilateral ties and regional developments.
King Abdullah II met with King Mohammed VI upon his arrival.
An official ceremony was held at the Royal Palace to receive the King, where the artillery fired a 21-gun salute.
King Abdullah was received by senior civic and military Moroccan officials, as well as Arab and foreign ambassadors accredited to Morocco.
During the three-day visit, the two sides are expected to discuss bilateral cooperation and topics of mutual interest.
The two countries have signed some 60 agreements as they are both part of the Agadir Agreement, which is a free trade agreement that came into force in March, 2007.
The two monarchs held talks in the royal cabinet after the official welcoming ceremony.
