HipHopDX Premiere: Co-signed by DJ Premier, Jamo Gang — Ras Kass, El Gant and J57 — is busy carving out a space for itself among the Hip Hop elite, which shouldn’t be difficult considering the rap pedigree of all three.
After dropping “Here We Go Again,” the hardworking trio is back with an insider’s look at the creation of their debut album, a brief video filmed at SpaceLAB Recording Studios in New York City, where part of the album was recorded. Simply titled “This Is Jamo Gang,” the visual was shot by Rob Levy of Civil Productions.
Jamo Gang plans to release its inaugural album in late summer 2017 and, later this month, will get a jump start on the project’s roll when they launch the album campaign. While we wait for more audible treats from the trio, check out what goes on in the lab above.
