Chelsea FC thrilled fans in an emphatic win at the Etihad stadium Saturday afternoon. They extended their in-form unbeatable record and both Costa and Hazard move a goal up each on the top scorers list.

Manchester City took the lead in the last minute before half time through an own goal by Gary Cahill in an attempt to stop a cross from Jesus Navas at the right flanks.

Manchester City dominated the game enjoying the most possessions, and creating more chances. They seemed to be the favorite to win the match from the beginning but failed to capitalize on the many chances they created. Chelsea however were very clinical as they scored three out of their four shots on target.

Fifteen minutes into the second half and Fabregas sets Costa up in a stunning long pass from behind which he executes in a dazzling fashion as he beats the defender and Bravo.

Willian put Chelsea up front through a pass from Costa in the 70th minute. City kept pressing and really, they could have equalized but a counter from Hazard in the 90th minute sealed Chelsea’s win in a dramatic turn up.

Chelsea players dedicated their goals to the victims of the Chapacoense plane crash.

The day couldn’t have been more dramatic as two City players; Aguero and Fernandinho were sent off in the last minute of injury time on accounts of indiscipline.

Man City had the opportunities to score a second goal but they didn’t. So when Chelsea finally levelled with the Manchester side, their confidence soared and they scored again to take the lead, and again to extend their lead which fetch them three important points.

Liverpool play Sunderland on Sunday and Chelsea would hope for a loss for the Merseyside in order to extend their lead on the table.
