Our Millennial Crush Monday #MCM for this week is Ghana’s Heel the World (HTW)
HTW is a Ghanaian company established by young Ghanaian Millennials who believed in the African entrepreneurial spirit.
Established in 2009, this African start-up continues to see it star on the rise, due to its commitment to pursue innovative ways to greatness.
The company started as a shoe company in 2009, but it has re-branded itself as a force for social change, empowerment and one that supports entrepreneurship in Ghana, and across the African continent.

HTW is known for their hand crafted shoes and their iconic black and gold empowerment Heel the World beads.

Each black bead symbolizes the hard work that is required and goes into fulfilling ones dreams, and the solitary gold bead symbolizes the realization of the dream.
This summer prior to the world cup they unveiled their World Cup Captain’s Band, a patriotic piece and a testament to their belief that you are the captain of your own destiny.

Their success story is indeed an inspiration to many African Millennials. HTW has also been featured on CNN African start-up success stories
