Despite the continuous public health education about how to recognize the symptoms of the Ebola Virus Disease, the debilitating effects of virus, mode of transmission, its prevalence, and how to reduce the the probability of being infected, ignorance and fear still persists within several West African communities.
We would like to commend Frank Donga and Ndani TV for their non-conventional, yet effective initiative to dispel the fear mongering and the misinformation associated with West Africa’s current Ebola epidemic.
