Praying for peace during an election year as been the opiate of most Ghanaians but the proprietor of Great Lamptey Mills Institute, Enoch Nii-Lamptey Mills aka Great Lamptey Mills has revealed emphatically that it’s absurd to pray for peace.
The multiple award winning proprietor made the staggering revelation when asked to give his peace message since its barely thirty days for the general elections.
Mr Lamptey Mills who is also noted for initiating sanitation projects cited that, praying for peace when things are not done in the rightful manner is useless because prayer without action is powerless. According to him, action is what we have to do as Ghanaians,like being Self disciplined and refraining from illegal carrying of ballot boxes and not doing things that would bring about confusion.
He again stressed emphatically that, “Sometimes When i hear people praying for peace in Ghana i asks myself what are they talking about? We don’t pray for peace, peace is like bonus.there is something you should do that would bring the peace. let us do the right thing and the peace would automatically come’,He quipped
The most exhilarating part of the interview was when the multiple award winning proprietor emphasized to Rossy of www.razzonline.com that everybody is crying for peace but no one is crying for justice. He explain that when there is justice and transparency the peace would come by itself.
