The press foundation in their maiden TPF media festival 2016 with the theme election 2016; the role of the journalist reiterated the need to award the Ghanaian journalist for exhibiting exemplary job in the field of journalism.
Speaking at the at official TPF National media festival 2016,the founder of the press foundation Mr Listowel Yesu Bukarson said this award was simply named after the world renowned investigative journalist Anas Aremeyao Anas to aid journalist climb to the highest apogee in their chosen profession with a collaboration with the US embassy of which the ultimate winnner will get the chance to some exchange program in States.
The occasion was also used to sensitise the media on reportage of 2016 elections and the role journalist will be playing in a peaceful Ghana before and after the elections.
