High-life musician, Dada Kwaku Duah, known in the music industry as Dada KD has predicted that no gospel musician will win the Artist of the Year award.
According to him, the ‘jealous and hypocritical’ nature of gospel musicians has impeded their ability to win the ultimate in the Ghana Music Awards.
Dada KD made the comment during an exclusive interview on Adom Entertainment Hall last Saturday.
He explained that the gospel musician who have branded themselves holy have separated themselves from the circular musicians thus making it difficult for majority of Ghanaians to vote for them.
“They claim they are preaching the word of God but there are jealous attitude among themselves which can never make them win any best artist of the year till the world comes to an end” he noted.
Dada KD claimed most of the supposed gospel artists have resorted to voodoo known in local parlance as “juju” to make their songs a hit thus cannot be trusted.
