Micah Stampley is billed to perform at this year’s Ghana Stands in Worship Concert, which is scheduled to take place at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday, August 28.

It will be recalled that last year’s event was an explosive concert which featured Sinach, who engulfed patrons with ‘The Name of Jesus’, ‘Break Every Chain’, ‘I know who I am’ and other popular sing-alongs, creating a charged atmosphere of praise and worship. The concert also saw on stage, America’s William McDowell, singing his top tracks ‘I Give Myself Away’, ‘You Are God alone’, ‘I Won’t Go Back’ and many of his sizzling tunes.

Headlining this year’s explosive and unique musical encounter are three internationally acclaimed gospel musicians including award-winning gospel music icon, Micah Stampley, who is known for his hit tracks ‘Holiness’ , ‘Our God’, ‘Heaven on Earth’ and other popular renditions sang in churches across the globe.

Speaking to 3news.com, Micah Stampley said his responsibility is to lead people to God’s presence which he is in Ghana to do at the Concert.

“My responsibility and the mandate on my life is to lead Gods people into His presence and anything outside of that are me being outside of God’s will.

“You can expect me to do what He is asking me to do and that is leading His people into His presence in worship in extremely high energy praise.

“I’m comfortable because we are going to have an incredible time just worshiping and magnifying God.”

Nathaniel Bassey is also expected to mount the stage together to perform his melodious tune ‘This God is Too Good’, which featured Micah Stampley.

This song is expected to send patrons standing on their feet and holding hands together in worship.

The third international act for the evening would be from the anointed songwriter, singer and music producer, Benjamin Dube from South Africa, who is credited for many international stages for his electrifying Zulu performances and songs ‘Elshaddai Adonai’, ‘Eh Yahweh Kumama’, ‘Ketsepile’ and ‘Bow Down and Worship Him’.

The programme is expected to thrill Christians from different denominations and music lovers generally as various choirs from selected churches mount the stage with beautiful renditions and original compositions.

Elder Mireku, Ceccy Twum and Joe Mettle are also expected to take turns in praise and worship, with a special tribute to Danny Nettey, who was earlier slated to perform at the Concert.
