Budding dancehall artiste, Ebony Reigns was on Hitz FM and yes, she has also waded into this Kaakie-MzVee brouhaha.
According to Ebony Reigns, MzVee is definitely not at par with Kaakie and she should more or less put some ‘respeck’ on Kaakie’s name.
“I would choose Kaakie over Mzvee any day, anytime. When Abrewa Nana, Ras Nigga and the rest put their careers on hold, Kaakie was the only one who kept the genre running with respect to female acts. Kaakie was the only one who kept the genre alive. Kaakie over Mzvee kraa”. Ebony choosing Kaakie over MzVee.
The Kupe hitmaker is known for dressing provocatively. According to her, she dresses that way because she’s into dancehall and there is no good girl thing over there, whatever the case is, one has to look hot.
“I think my style is totally different. I chose to dress this way because well, I grew up with it and also this is dancehall. Dancehall is dancehall, you can’t be a dancehall artiste and be doing any good girl thing.” Ebony on why she dresses provocatively.
