Kumawood actress, Anastasia Serwaa, has revealed that she had to quit her banking job to focus on her passion; acting.
The beautiful actress who worked as a banker at Unibank has featured in about 30 movies since she began her acting career.
“Sexy”, as she is popularly known in the movie industry, has gained a lot of experiences for herself in the movie industry making her a force to reckon with.
Her first movie “Goliath B3 Ko” exposed her to the wheel of her stardom which gave her the opportunity to meet a lot of the movie stars including her role model and mentor.
Anastasia Serwaa cited popular Kumawood actress Emelia Brobbey as her role model and one she looks up to. She described Emelia as an actress who has succeeded showing Ghana to the world and still pushing harder.
Serwaa who was born and bread in Bekwai Jakobu in the Ashanti region also debunked circulating rumours that producers demand a lot from actors and actresses before giving movie roles.
Commenting on the coming elections, the budding actress said Ghanaians should brace themselves up and choose a competent leader who has will power to control the affairs of the state.
“It’s just a matter of exercising your power by choosing the one you, the individual thinks can manage the welfare of the state properly. We should not stand and fight for people whose children has never been seen wearing their political shirts and flattering with their parents political opinions.” She said
