Ace comedian Derick Kobena Bonney popularly known on stage as DKB has criticized the management of Hitz FM, an entertainment station based in Accra.
In a WhatsApp voice note, monitored by Ghanaweb.com the ace comedian said he is a huge fun of Hitz FM because he loves entertainment channels but anytime he tunes to the station, it fills him with negativity.
According to him, it looks like Hitz FM always brings people who have no idea about entertainment to discuss issues and most especially comedy.
“I have not really heard anything positive from Hitz FM morning show considering comedy and it always destroys my day” he said.
According to him, anytime anything Ghanaian comedy comes up on the station, it’s just full of negativity and it is very destructive to him,” they don’t promote it well, they don’t push for it, I believe they don’t hope it goes well for anything Ghanaian comedy here” he said.
The 2012 big brother representative believes that even Nigerians are giving us pros for putting our comedy together and very well, but it’s so shocking to find a Ghanaian station pulling the comedy down.
“For me, if I really want to have a good day I hardly listen to Hitz FM in the morning” he said.
“The station just gives me a bad day in the morning”.
