The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) nominee for ‘Overall Artist of the Year’, Joe Mettle, represented Ghana at the 32nd annual Stellar Awards in Las Vegas, USA.
The Ghanaian gospel sensation was elated as he posted photos on his social media platform, his experience at one of the biggest gospel awards shows in the world.
The Stellar Awards is a Gospel Music Awards in the U. S., honoring Gospel Music artists, writers, and industry professionals. Chicago based production company Central City Productions Inc. spearheaded by founder, chairman & CEO Don Jackson, has produced the show since its inception in 1985.
The Stellar Awards was dominated by young gospel act, Travis Greene, who notched several nominations and went home with a number of awards.
Joe Mettle is gunning to become the first gospel artiste in the history of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards to win the topmost prize, ‘Artiste of the Year’.
The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is scheduled for April 8. 2017 at the Accra Int. Conference Center.
