Afia Schwarzenegger’s father is a year older today and the controversial comedienne posted a message to her “humble” dad in a manner which seems to throw shades at Yvonne Nelson.
The beautiful actress cum model recently lost her father whom according to her, had not been part of her life most of the time. She is particularly noted for celebrating her mother on every Father’s Day as she claimed her mother over the years played the role of both a mother and father in her life.
But recently, she posted a picture of herself and her late father with a hearty message:
“Rest In Peace Father. This picture was taken on the 6th of this month…, I have only two pictures with my Father, and this is one of them…..so much I wanted to talk about…..so much I wanted to say…..but God knows best….I know you are in HEAVEN……I know we’ll meet again and talk about it all…..there were days I cried to my mum to bring me to yours……there were days I couldn’t wait to see you and talk to you just for a minute….I longed to hold your hand…..I longed to sit on your lap…..I longed for all of that……can we still do that when I see you in HEAVEN?? Can we start all over again?? Can we correct the mistakes??? I longed for you so much. I have nothing but love for you…….in His last days….he always mentioned God in everything he said…why?? Because there’s no one GREATER sleep well father #MRNELSON”
Yvonne Nelson however, received backlash from some Ghanaians who described her as a ‘hypocrite.’
Schwarzenegger’s Instagram message started with “I will celebrate you while you are alive so I won’t sound petty when you are gone.”
According to Afia, her father is the best and his humility is on an entirely different level.
Though the controversial comedienne celebrates her father, we are not sure if Afia Schwarzenegger was hitting at Yvonne Nelson, but whatever be the case, A Happy Birthday to the man who brought forth by the Queen of Comedy in Ghana.
