Ghanaian actress turned politician, Tracey Boakye has run to the defence of President John Mahama against her own tribe, the Ashantis.
The actress who is a staunch member of the ruling party, National Democratic Congress (NDC) will go to any length to defend John Mahama.
In a video she shared on her Instagram page, Tracey Boakye has launched an attack on a group of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) members who hooted at President Mahama when he was in Ashanti Region to mourn with the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
Tracey clearly stated in the video that, the activities of the NPP cannot change her mind to join them and that, she is going all out for President Mahama.
Last Thursday, a group of Ashantis believed to be induced by the NPP have ganged against President Mahama when he was in Kumasi.
