Female dancehall act Akosua Kwakye known for the song Funky Fresh says that abortion cannot be an option for teenage pregnancy.
In an interview with livefmghana.com, the Paradise Entertainment lady advised young women who find themselves in such positions to gather courage and put to birth.
“Abortion is not right and no one has the power to take the life of another. You may never know the future of the child you are getting rid off.
“Having a child does not destroy your life nor bring your life to an end. This is not to say that, I support teenage pregnancy but the truth is life must go on,” she said.
AK is known for songs like Dangerous, Pace Setter, Rock Your Body and Party.
She describes herself as a go-getter and a humble and respectful person until she is disrespected.
AK is passionate about the plight of women and said she hated men who disrespect women and take advantage of them.
