It is true that “time flies and hours are not likely to return” in this regards when you dream, it must be big as the ocean.
All too soon another GaDangme union is about to be unfold in Germany precisely Hamburg. This union is full of creativity and a cradle for mankind and the future of GaDangmes and Ghanaians, a union with many faces, many opinions, and many views, all different but gathered around one dream, one course, and one mission to unite and defend one common beliefs and cultural activities that will rise and empower members both abroad and home.
I can bet you that on 27th of this month, (August) the world will witness another GaDangme union in Hamburg with the focus and direction on building, strengthen and collaborating with stakeholders in Greater Accra and Ghana, and Hamburg.
An interview with one of the top-notch in the group indicate that the yet to be inaugurate union will build trust and respect among members and focusing on development programmes and event that will energize all GaDangme groups both in abroad and home especially on cultural display of the GaDangmes and Ghana, education empowerment in Gt. Accra, sustainable health education in Ghana and encouraging Ghanaians in particular women to get into decision making position so that their voices will be held across broad on issues relating to women and children development.
I am reliable informed that Greater Accra regional minister Honorable Joseph Nii Laryea Afotey-Agbo (MP) and Honorable Nii Okaidja Adamafio former minister of interior in the Rawlings government will grace the occasion to justify their unflinching support to the new union because of the aims and programmes tinted to their agenda as a union.
The count-down has just begun, all road leads to Hamburg (Gesamtschule Alter Teichweg 200) for the annual homowo celebration and the official launching of a new GaDangme union, as one member whisper in to my recorder “We have a dream, We have a future; if you see a wonder of a fairy tale, You can take the future even if you fail” “We have a union; a fantasy to help us through reality, Our destination makes it worth a while, Pushing through the darkness, we cross another mile of a journey” “We believe in ourselves because there is something good in everything we see or act, we believe in our unity and now, the time is right for us; we cross the stream”.
