Ideal Finance Ltd, a money lending institution in the country, has presented a cheque for GH¢10,000 to the National House of Chiefs in Kumasi.
The money is to help refurbish the NHC national building in Kumasi. The project is expected to be completed this year.
Decision
Making the presentation on behalf of Dr Nii Dzani Kotei, president of Groupe Ideal, the Kumasi branch Manager of Ideal Finance, Mr Charles Amoah, said Ideal Finance decided to respond to the needs of the House due to the important role the chieftaincy institution played in the development of the nation.
He said the donation formed part of the company’s corporate social responsibility. The manager expressed the hope that the support would strengthen the bond of cooperation between NHC and the company.
Mr Amoah said he was hopeful that the completion of the project would enhance the operations and activities of the house.
According to him, Ideal Finance specialises in providing tailor-made products and offering financial solutions to businesses and individuals, with emphasis on small and medium enterprises.
“Our strategy focuses on delivering creative value-adding financial solutions to clients with convenience, speed and responsiveness as our hallmark,” Mr Amoah added.
Appreciation
The Paramount Chief of Abeadze Traditional Area and Vice-President of the NHC, Daasebre Kweku Ewusi VII, expressed appreciation to Ideal Finance for responding to their appeals to create a congenial atmosphere for them to operate efficiently.
He pledged the House’s desire to deepen the bond between the NHC and the financial institution.
Background
The NHC last year started the renovation of its national headquarters building in Kumasi to befit its status.
The project, which is in phases, includes re-roofing, expansion of the conference hall to accommodate queen mothers and changing of doors and windows in line with modern standards.
